Terms of Service
These terms govern your purchase and use of products from Crotool, operated by Paulo de Vries. Plain language, short, no surprises.
1. Products
- CROAudit (€197). Productized service. You submit a URL + optional brief. I deliver a Loom walkthrough + 8-12 page report within 48 hours of payment received. Single audit per purchase. Not a retainer or recurring subscription.
- CRO Template Pack (€49). Digital download — 5 PDF templates + editable markdown sources. Delivered immediately on payment.
- Free Teardown Tools. Use without purchase. Subject to fair-use (no scraping, no rebranding, no commercial redistribution).
2. Refund policy
30-day no-questions-asked refund on both CROAudit and Template Pack. Email contact@editnative.com with your order number. Refund processed within 7 business days. No forms, no “exit interview”.
EU/EEA buyers: you have an additional statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Distance Selling Regulations. Our 30-day refund exceeds this. Note: by clicking “Buy now” on a digital product where delivery is immediate, EU law lets you waive the 14-day right — but our 30-day refund still applies.
3. What you can do with what you buy
- Apply the audit findings + templates to your own business — yes, obviously.
- Share key insights with your team — yes.
- Quote the report briefly with attribution to crotool.com — yes.
- Resell or redistribute the audit report or templates — no.
- Strip the Crotool branding and resell as your own — no.
- Use the templates for client work as a freelancer / consultant — yes, internally; redistribution to clients beyond your project scope is not permitted.
4. What I don’t guarantee
CRO is observation-based. The audit identifies likely friction and prioritized fixes anchored on observable behavior + standard principles. I cannot guarantee any specific revenue uplift, conversion rate change, or business outcome — every situation depends on execution, market conditions, and factors outside the audit’s scope. The 30-day refund exists precisely because outcomes are uncertain — if the audit doesn’t feel worth €197 to you, you get your money back.
5. Liability
Liability is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. Crotool is not liable for indirect, consequential, or business-loss damages. The audit is advisory; you decide what to ship.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use this site or its content for: phishing, scraping at rates that affect availability, automated republishing of teardown observations, or any harmful or illegal purpose. Don’t use the audit on a site you don’t own or have permission to optimize.
7. Changes
These terms apply to purchases made under this version. Material changes get a new “last updated” date and a notice on this page. Existing purchases remain governed by the version effective at purchase time.
8. Governing law
Belgian law applies (operator residence). Disputes that can’t be resolved by email correspondence are subject to the courts of Brussels. EU consumer protections still apply where mandatory.
