Privacy Policy

Crotool (“we”, “us”) is operated by Paulo de Vries. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights under GDPR and similar privacy laws.

1. What we collect

• Aggregate visitor analytics via Plausible Analytics. No cookies. No cross-site tracking. No personal identifiers. Plausible is GDPR-compliant by default and does not require a cookie banner. Data we receive: pageviews, referrer, browser type, country, device type — all aggregated, never linked to an individual.
• Email address when you (a) contact us via contact@editnative.com, (b) purchase a CROAudit or Template Pack, or (c) submit a form on this site. Used only for fulfillment and direct correspondence.
• Audit-input data when you purchase a CROAudit: the URL you submit, optional brief, optional analytics-dashboard screenshots you provide. Used only to deliver your audit. Deleted 90 days after delivery (or earlier if you request).

2. What we do NOT collect

• No cross-site tracking cookies.
• No third-party advertising trackers.
• No social-media pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• No fingerprinting.
• No data brokers or behavioral re-targeting.
• No payment-card data — Stripe handles payment processing entirely on their servers; we never see your card details.

3. Third parties

The minimum necessary for operations:

• Plausible Analytics — aggregate visitor metrics. Plausible privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid products. Stripe privacy policy. Stripe sees your payment details; we don’t.
• Resend — transactional email (audit delivery, template-pack delivery). Resend privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — site hosting + edge cache. May process IP addresses for security and DDoS mitigation. Cloudflare privacy policy.

4. Your rights (GDPR / similar)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email contact@editnative.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. No bureaucratic forms.

5. Data retention

• Email correspondence: kept for the lifetime of the relationship + 24 months for warranty / refund / dispute purposes.
• Audit-input data: deleted 90 days after audit delivery.
• Audit reports we delivered to you: kept indefinitely as a record of fulfillment unless you request deletion.
• Stripe transaction records: retained per Stripe’s policy (we don’t control their retention).

6. Children

Crotool is a B2B service. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover such data, we delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

Material changes get a notice on this page with a new “last updated” date. Substantial changes affecting existing customers get an email.
