The 5 teardown tools (free)

Each tool runs against the same per-company teardown database. When the operator audits a new company, all 5 tools update simultaneously.

Tool 1 of 5

Pricing Page Teardown

Per-company breakdown of every pricing page in our index: tier count, anchor pricing, decoy tier, free-tier strategy, billing cadence, annual discount, primary CTA copy + position. Each row cites the snapshot URL.

Tool 2 of 5

Landing Page Teardown

Hero structure, headline copy, CTA position, social-proof placement, above-fold form vs. scroll-to-form, video vs. static hero. The choices behind each company's primary acquisition surface.

Tool 3 of 5

Form Field Count Optimizer

Enter your form's field count; see the expected completion-rate hit anchored on Baymard's published 1.5–3% per-field finding. Compare against the indexed companies' actual field counts.

Tool 4 of 5

Checkout Friction Calc

Composite friction score (0-100) from step count, guest-checkout availability, payment-method coverage, KYC requirements, cart-recovery cadence. Calibrated against Baymard taxonomy.

Tool 5 of 5

CTA Copy Library

Searchable library of every primary CTA copy across the indexed companies' pricing/landing/form/checkout surfaces. Filterable by verb, surface, funnel stage, company. Auto-derived from the teardown database.

Tools coverage launches with 15 companies (Linear, Notion, Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, Figma, Calendly, Loom, Zapier, Airtable, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Webflow, Framer). Phase 2 expands to 50.

Why Crotool is different

Most CRO content gives you generic frameworks. Crotool gives you actual observations: how does Linearhandle decoy-tier pricing? What’s Stripe’s checkout step count? How many fields does Calendly’s signup form have? Each answer is a snapshot URL + date — go verify it yourself.

And when you want someone to apply this to YOUR page, the audit is fixed-price and async. No calendar tax. No retainer pitch.

The honesty policy

Every per-company surface row records the snapshot URL + observation date. Companies we haven’t audited yet 404 instead of show fabricated numbers. Subjective CRO commentary is clearly marked as observer notes.

The site’s entire value is “we observed company X doing Y on date Z — go verify.” A single fabricated tier price or field count would collapse credibility for every other observation. Same fleet rule as our sibling site conversionbench.com.
